Apotheosis Games ("we," "us," or "our") operates foretold-game.com (the "Site"), where we sell Foretold: Rise of a God, the Fatesworn expansion, and related accessories. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit or shop with us, how we use it, and who we share it with.
We're a small, independent tabletop game publisher — not a data company. We collect the minimum we need to take your order, ship your game, and answer your questions.
Order information. Checkout on this Site is handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. When you place an order, Stripe collects your name, email address, shipping address, and payment details directly on Stripe's own secure checkout page. We never see, receive, or store your full card number — Stripe passes us only the order details we need to fulfill it: your name, shipping address, email, the items purchased, and the amount paid.
Contact information. If you email us (for example, at Jay@foretold-game.com) or reach out for an international shipping quote, we receive whatever information you choose to include in that message.
Accounts. We don't currently require you to create an account, username, or password to shop with us — checkout is guest-only.
Automatically collected information. The Site itself does not use analytics or advertising trackers, and your shopping cart is held only in your browser's memory for your current visit — it isn't saved to a cookie or server. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) and Stripe's checkout page may automatically log standard technical information (like IP address, browser type, and request timestamps) as part of running the Site and processing payments securely; we don't control or access this beyond what's needed to keep the Site running and investigate abuse.
We keep order records for as long as needed for accounting, tax, warranty, and legal purposes. Payment details are retained by Stripe under its own retention practices — we don't separately store them.
You can email us at Jay@foretold-game.com at any time to ask what information we hold about you, or to request that we correct or delete the contact or order information we hold directly. We'll respond as quickly as we can. Note that we can't delete transaction records Stripe or our fulfillment partner are independently required to retain (for example, for tax or fraud-prevention purposes).
If you're located in California, the EU, the UK, or another jurisdiction with its own privacy law, you may have additional rights under that law (such as access, correction, deletion, or portability). Reach out and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.
Foretold: Rise of a God is intended for ages 14 and up. This Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
The Site links to third-party services we don't control, including Stripe, Steam / Tabletop Simulator, and mtg-oracle.com. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.
We may update this policy from time to time as the Site or our business practices change. We'll update the "last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
