These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of foretold-game.com (the "Site") and any purchase you make through it. The Site is operated by Apotheosis Games ("we," "us," or "our"), publisher of Foretold: Rise of a God. By browsing the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
We sell Foretold: Rise of a God, the Fatesworn expansion, and related accessories (like card sleeves) directly to consumers. We also publish rules references, FAQs, and other free game-support content here.
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to display accurate pricing and availability, but errors can happen — if we discover a pricing or listing error on an order you've placed, we'll contact you before proceeding and give you the option to confirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund. We reserve the right to limit order quantities and to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion (for example, if we suspect fraud or an ordering error).
Checkout is processed securely through Stripe. By placing an order, you confirm that the payment information you provide is accurate and that you're authorized to use the payment method. Your order is confirmed once you receive an order confirmation; we'll email you when it ships.
We currently offer free shipping within the United States, with an estimated delivery window of 3–7 business days after your order ships. Automated international checkout isn't available yet — if you're outside the U.S., email Jay@foretold-game.com for a manual shipping quote. International orders arranged this way are subject to separate agreement on cost and are not guaranteed.
We back every order with a 30-day guarantee: if your game or expansion arrives damaged in transit, contact us within 30 days of delivery at Jay@foretold-game.com with your order number and a photo of the damage, and we'll send a free replacement. Because our products are physical goods sold in limited runs, we don't currently accept returns for reasons other than shipping damage or a fulfillment error on our part — reach out and we'll do our best to make it right.
Foretold: Rise of a God, its rules text, card names, card art, graphic design, and all related content on this Site are owned by Apotheosis Games and its credited collaborators (card art by Garrett Post; graphic design by Neal Rasmussen) and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You're welcome to use your purchased copy of the game for personal, non-commercial play — including photographing or streaming your own games — but reproducing, redistributing, reselling, or creating derivative works from our card art, rules text, or branding without our written permission isn't allowed.
We link to a free, fan-made digital adaptation of Foretold: Rise of a God for Tabletop Simulator, with assets digitized by JamezBob. This mod is a third-party creation hosted on Steam Workshop, provided "as is" — we don't control its availability, functionality, or content, and can't guarantee it will always be accessible. Tabletop Simulator itself is a separate paid application published by its own developer (Berserk Games) and is not something we sell or control; using it is subject to its own terms and Steam's terms of service.
When using the Site, you agree not to: violate any applicable law; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its underlying systems; scrape, harvest, or reproduce Site content beyond normal personal browsing; or interfere with the Site's operation or security.
The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Apotheosis Games will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or your purchase of our products. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
